Fury is a complex character with two prominent iterations in DC Comics. The original Fury was Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor, the daughter of the Golden Age Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. She inherited her mother's Amazonian strength and combat skills, eventually becoming a member of the All-Star Squadron during World War II. Later, she joined Infinity, Inc., a team composed of the children and proteges of the Justice Society.

A second, more well-known Fury is Donna Troy. After a series of retcons and alterations to Donna's origin story, she was ultimately revealed to be a New God from Apokolips, given Amazonian training. This Fury is a powerful and often unpredictable warrior, associated with anger and rage. She is often depicted as a member of the Teen Titans and is one of Wonder Woman's closest allies, despite her troubled past and conflicting loyalties.

Both versions of Fury share a common thread of powerful female heroism, albeit tinged with internal conflicts and complex familial relationships. The name "Fury" itself hints at the raw, unbridled power they wield and the intense emotions that often drive them.
